Based on Imaging-Resources website Lab Test on field flatness and sharpness here: Pentax 55mm f/1.4 SDM SMC DA* Review I'd go with the 55mm f/1.4 (~84.5mm in FF).. About $496 with current -23% sale.

Good term!!
Mrs Rod is the putter - I wander off and photograph.
Her final words each time are "don't run."
She is concerned that I will do myself an injury running up the 200+ steps (or whatever) in order to get back to her in the allotted time.
