This guy was perfectly happy with me sitting and watching him from about 50 feet away. There's a trail behind the trees and some people were getting close and it didn't like that.

Thanks Dennis! We're in their range here, but it's really not very common to see them. Every once in a while there will be some at the Riparian Preserve in Gilbert, but they tend to stay in the reeds.
