Thank-you all for your honest replies. It has been a tough time going through all of my uncle's estate and finding a home for his cherished equipment. Along with this lens he also had a Nikon 1200mm f11. Both are beautiful lenses.

I will be posting the lens for sell here on this site. Ebay doesn't allow sales of this size.

The price I quoted was based on the following: SMC Pentax-M* 67 800mm F6.7 ED [IF] Reviews - 67 Telephoto Primes - Pentax Lens Reviews & Lens Database

Just not sure how accurate that price is.

Hello

I recently inherited a Pentax 800mm f6.7. I am interested in selling it and plan to put on ebay. My question is what value should I put on it? According to the Pentax Forums they have a value for average price of $8,000. I assume this was probably based on a past sale.

Any help would be appreciated.
