My K1 II was sent to Precision Camera for repairs - it fell off of a tripod and the 85mm lens ripped the mount right off the body. The camera body has been returned but they are still working on the 85mm repairs.
Since getting it back this week, I can not switch to Live View or adjust the AE Metering from the two buttons to the left of the view finder. I can change the metering mode in the menu, and live view works when I switch to video. Does this need to go back to the repair shop or is there some small box buried in the menus that I'm missing?
The firmware is at 2.31 (latest, correct?) and I've tried several resets. Thanks!

Yes, it's a sturdy camera. It did not survive the recent fall from my monopod, and is in recovery for 2-3 weeks...

Hi all. I was shooting the with my Godox X-Pro Trigger the other night and wanted to switch from my K-1 to 645z. Unfortunately, the trigger was stuck. After some firm jostling, I gave up. I don't want to pull and yank too much because it could rip the hot shoe (had that problem with my other K-1). Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hello collective hive:
I received a 645z two months ago and still trying to get comfortable with it. I mostly use it on a tripod or monopod with MF lenses. I do have two autofocus lenses as well. My question is I can't tell if shake reduction is turned on or off. I understand that it's lens based but there's nothing on the camera body indicating that it's activated (no waving hand like on my K-1). Am I missing something? When I go through settings, I don't see anything to indicate how to turn it on or off. What am I missing? Is it entirely automatic whether it's on or off? Thank you in advance for your friendly advice.

Thanks for the responses. I did have the aperture wide open when it stop down. Maybe I'll try some test shots with a narrower aperture.

Hello,
I feel silly about this question but I'm really struggling with the K-01 Auto Focus: Yesterday, I was taking a picture of a friend with the K-01 body and the D FA 85mm F1.4 Lens. I had the focus set to face detection. When I hit the shutter, it would go out of focus and I ended up with a blurry abstract collage of color. There's been other times when I had the subject's face focused, tried locking it in, but it changed to his/her leg or something. Thoughts?

Thanks again for the all the recommendations and replies. The Godox AD400 arrived the other day, and I was able to trigger it and my AF-500 in Slave mode with the K-3 pop-up flash in Master mode and with the AF-540 in Master mode (didn't work in control mode or off camera) on the K-1.
If I understand what y'all are saying is: If I get the X1R remote, the Pentax AF-540 will fire/trigger but won't work in HSS & P-TTL and can't be remotely adjusted. Yes? My X-Pro arrives tomorrow, so that will be the moment of truth, I guess.
Ultimately, I'll likely replace my Pentax flashes with Godox. Honestly, my AF-540 has been really inconsistent and often fails me when I'm in the field whereas the AF-500 has been a true workhorse - simple but gets the job done.

Hello all,
This is my first time posting in the Pentax Forum about an actual camera issue. I finally decided to purchase a Godox X-Pro-P trigger and Godox Wistro AD400pro flash. I still have the Pentax AF-540fgz and AF-500fgz flashes. After much research, I'm still overwhelmed and confused about the possibility of linking my old Pentax flashes with the Godox X-Pro trigger. If I purchase the Godox x1r receiver, will that make my Pentax flashes work with the X-Pro trigger? Ideally, I would like to use 2-3 off-camera flashes.
I realized that by purchasing the Godox X-pro trigger, I've "bought in" to the world of Godox. If there was away to still use my Pentax flashes with the Godox system, it would be nice.
I would really appreciate a simple response as I've been struggling to find a solution to this question. Thanks!
