The K100D super is a great camera, putting it on auto will get you some great pictures,and if you check out the manual that comes with the camera and play a little you will be amazed by the results. Everthing is explained very well and there are a few dvds available for the K100d that will help out as well,a quick search of the net will give you a good selection of books and dvds. Playing around with the camera before you go is a good idea and gets you comfortable with the camera and the way it functions. Have fun on your trip and please post some pictures..

Thanks for the info,I use alot of the m42 taks,but I found the Ziess lenses after I went thru my Dads stuff. I quess I'll put them on Ebay. After all I have a very bad case of LBA and these will finance my next fix. Again thanks

Carl Ziess Exakta mount lenses is there a way to use these on my K100D,or change the mount to an m42.I have an Flek. 20/4 and a flek. 35. They were my fathers and I know they are pretty old.Thanks

I have yet to be able to actually find a K20D that I can look at in person and check it out,around here in Burlington,Vermont theres Ritz camera an a few small shops,that sell Canon,Nikon,and Sony or Olympus.I asked at the Ritz location where I had bought my K100D and they told me that I would have to get my Pentax gear on line as they were using the shelf space for higher volume products.:o If you can't check out Pentax versus the others how can you see the great product that Pentax has.:( An how can Pentax increase the market share and sell more cameras if they aren't found in more stores.:p I am looking in the small stores around here for the K20,and I will find one... Then I will buy it online if I have too...:lol:
