A black-necked stilt pauses on migration at Patagonia Lake, AZ. The image was made using the DA* 300mm F4 lens with a x1.4 teleconverter, giving a 420mm focal length.

In the end, I liked #13 the best, for the abstract quality. But as portraiture #2 and #4 were also outstanding.

Enthusiasm for the K3 iii was already melting away because of the buffer limits. This story suggests another constraint for outdoor/wildlife photographers. I'm going to wait and see how this plays out, while building up my OM-D kit.

My K-70 wears the 300mm f/4 most of the time. It's enough camera for my skill level, and the lens is wonderfully sharp.

First, find something amazing to photograph! People, artifacts, cities don't come close. The complexity of nature, captured here, is breathtaking.

If one of my lenses has a "sweet spot" at f/8, and I add a 1.4x tele-extender, can I expect the "sweet spot" to remain at f/8? Or will it be shifted to f/11, or is it totally unpredictable?
