I completely agree. Tbh I wont be needing a new camera in a long time unless Pentax decides to release a new FF then that need will definitely change hahah

I can definitely see what you mean. When i get the 15-30 I know i will inevitably get the filter mount but I’m really looking for reasons that it’s not necessary hahah

Nice! I used to shoot raw+jpeg but stopped after I found myself constantly never using the jpegs and just deleting them haha

How old were you when you first started using Pentax? Did you have any other systems? How has your gear changed through the years? Mine looks like this:
Age 21
- Pentax k5
- pair of kit lenses 18-55 & 55-200 ( I think haha)
Age 24
- Pentax K3
- SMC 50 f1.8
- HD DA 20-40 ltd wr
- Rokinon 16mm f2
Age 29 (current load out)
- Pentax k1
- DFA* 50 mm f1.4
- HD DA 55-300 wr
- dji mini 2
- GoPro hero 5
How time has passed and the kit has changed :)

Hahah I definitely know what you mean! I've been in the same situation so a wide angle is a must. The only thing that really sets me off the 15-30 is the size. I too am currently waiting on a new K1 III. After going FF, I just don't every see myself going back to ASPC.
The mini 2 I would definitely recommend. It has been really useful, fun to use, and really easy to take along because of how light it is.

Nice! It seems like you had a whole luggage just for camera gear hahah
mine is looking like this right now:
- Pentax k1
- pentax DFA* 50mm f1.4
- pentax HD DA 55-300 wr
- VND/CPL filters for each
- dji mini 2 + fly more kit + ND filters
- Gopro hero 5
- generic light weight tripod on amazon that has been sturdy, light and has served me well.
Im just currently debating on which wide angle to add to my kit the DFA 15-30 or the HD DFA 21mm f2.4. Hard choice haha

I've bought a lens from amazon before and tbh it came in great without any problems. The financing options they gave me were also really good!
