Thanks everyone for the honest replies.I'll stick with what I've already got and,hopefully,improve my technique and skills before considering an upgrade.It's clear that "Camera Decision" have some objectivity issues.And,of course,now that I'm here I have the best Pentax critics around.Still happy to have left Sony et al behind.Once again,Thanks,Gerry.

Many thanks for the welcome.I appreciate it.I came to Pentax when the penny finally dropped that Sony were not keen on A-mount cameras anymore.I had a good selection of Minolta lenses that were wonderful (and cheap) that had become defunct unless I was prepared to use an adapter - not for me.So I took a look around and the large collection of Legacy glass and the "Astrotracer" function got me here.
My problems with the menu structure are,probably, nothing more than lack of familiarity.Already things are improving.I took the advice of one Pentaxian to make use of "Extra sharpness" which improved image quality enormously.I also found out from another about TAv mode.Wow! A revelation.I am now wading through information on Astro.There's a lot.But I must say thatMossyRocks thread for newcomers is invaluable.
