Now I want a GRmonochrome that has a hot swap yellow filter. :)
I think all the negativity about these cameras is silly. Ricoh has already shown that switching out little things on the existing camera is fairly easy to do and mostly well-liked. They have a nice platform in the GRiii, the fact that they can make iterations is pretty darn cool to me.

I voted small. Mainly because I like shooting with primes. If they are smaller, I can take more!
I could manage with the 24-70 and 70-210 to cover my landscape needs. I would probably get great results. But for some reason I prefer prime lenses. They just seem easier to use for me.

It has been getting up into the 50s the last few days, with clouds. The clouds moved out over night and the temps dropped to just below freezing. I had a feeling that this would bring on the sea smoke and/or fog over the warming lake. I was not disappointed. I went out to the local park on the waters of Fort Loudon Lake. This park has a good southeastern exposure for sunrise photography. It is also near the loval sailboat marina. So there is always a boat or two moored in a well placed spot. Which was the case this morning.
Shooting with the K1 and my cadre of primes - FA 77 Limited, F 135, D FA 50macro, and FA 31 Limited. I stuck around from just before sunrise to when the sea smoke and fog and nearly dissapated.
This was my most successful hour of shooting in a really long time. ---------- Post added 02-25-24 at 09:24 AM ---------- And a few in Black and white |

In the last shot I was actually getting ready to move on from shooting the tree. Then I saw the deer come over the ridge top and make its way down the hill so I could include it in the shot.
