"manufacturing-like process" generally means the increase in price and decrease in the number of available products.
So... nothing will really change. I will still buy cameras and lenses from second hand, no matter the brand. The support and repair options in EU, or more precisely in PL will still be very limited. I hope Pentax marketing will be improved with greater visibility in social medias, by ambassadors.

Thank you... no, all of you for that really helpful feedback!
Light source was a line of small, warm festival bulbs. The photo was kinda dark at first, so I did lighten the model and her face a little bit. That operation highlighted those lights in her eyes, it seems.

After like half of the year of reading a manual and messing with settings of my K-S2 I discovered the mighty power of Green Button and Optical Preview of depth of field. I think the possibility to change the focusing screen is one of those things too.
To be honest, I still encounter new, fun features, like in some kind of journey.

Well, that was a fascinating read. 😀
I also found something pure and beautiful in Pentax OVF and to be honest Pentaprism was one of the reasons to switch from Nikon's entry-level DSLR, which was - I must admit it - not very helpful for the beginner. More like just a preview of photographing. Pentax is the real companion through the way of capturing the moments - taking mistakes - learning - trying something new - seeing more.

Manners obligate to introduce myself, so,
I'm Marek and I'm from Poland. Actually I switched to Pentax (from Nikon) very recently, and I must admit I fell in love with K-S2 and the Pentax system overall. :D
It's really nice to see that Pentax community sticks together and presents friendliness and helpfulness. For me it's a real pro after the climate of similar Nikon communities.
So far I'm learning the basics and practice as much as I can and whatever type of photo I can.
For now, still the biggest difficulty for me is just focusing on doing the job when the conditions changes. I think It's a matter of practice so eventually we will get there.
I would be thankful for any kind of tips regarding this body and system. I already got onto first-name terms with the manual, but it's never too much knowledge.
