Thanks to all again, this K3 is a Tank, but love it and the 18-135 lens. Just starting to mess with it but wow, beautiful pictures. Going to be fun once I kinda know what I am doing. Lol. Thanks to all of you again !!!

Thank you all for your opinion and advice. I have been looking all over various sites at k3 and lenses. I am extremely happy to report that I purchased a K3 with the 18-135 lens. Actually I feel like I stole it, will even tell you I paid.....$250. Someone gave it to her and of course had no idea how to use it and was happy with the point and shoot digital she has. Obviously NO idea what this was worth. So, I am ecstatic and she is happy !!!! Thanks again to all of you.

Hi, am new here and very amateur. Looking for the best walk around lens for a kx or k50 Do not care for the 18-55, been using my 50-200, much better. But, am looking for a decent walkabout lens. Actually will be using this on my k50, have both. Not into spending a bunch.

Have it now on my kx, let me try my 1.7 that's auto. 1.4 k mount isn't.

Hi, need some help. I have a k50, trying to use my older 50mm 1.4 on it. I set it to manual mode, set the selector to m/f and I can't get the aperture to come up, just reads f___. Whaat am I doing wrong?

That's what I meant, I have 99%pentax lens, except a few in k mount aren't pentax.

Hi, my name is Jeff, was active here a long time ago, now back into but Lost in the new digital. I own I think every film camera made, well,, am PENTAX ONLY! Presently I have a 1st D, K-x and k-50. Am going to need lots of help determining the proper lens for the k50. So I don't bore you further I will watch, listen and ask some questions. I do believe I own every m42 mount lens, if your looking let me know. Nice to be back and thank you everyone.
