As I said Andres, I have contacted Gadget Infinity with such a question. They were quick with the reply: V2 or V2s receiver works with V2 or V2s transmitter!
Now I'm waiting for the postage to do their thing... it's fairly cheap to get another receiver and start using all your flashes ;)

Let me answer my own question!
Gadget Infinity answered my query:
"For trigger voltage over 12V, we recommend Cactus V2 receiver which can also
be triggered by the transmitter included in the Cactus V2s trigger set you
already have."
So I only need the appropriate receiver...

Thanks Matt, I thought that is the case...
Now I wonder if I can use one of the earlier models of receivers with the V2s transmitter?

Hi, I recently got my hands on a Cactus V2s set with 3 receivers, exactly what I was looking for. I use them without a problem with my Vivitar 850 flash.
Here comes the problem part: today a bought a cheap Revue bc 28 flash to use it as fill or background light. What do you now... it won't fire with the Cactus :(
Any idea how can I make it fire? It only has the hot shoe so that's the only way I can connect it to the receiver. It also has 156 V when charged so it won't go anywhere near my camera!
This is not such a big issue since the flash was only 10 $, it is only annoying to find out that Cactus will not fire any flash.
Thank you for your time!

Maybe you are using the Mirror Up function by accident?
You can check that in the shooting menu, by pressing Fn and choosing the Drive Mode ;)

Although I still have to get used to manual focus and the shallow DoF, I'm starting to get satisfactory results. Here are some samples of my 135 f2.8 PK.
I really love the bokeh I get wide open. |

Yes, you are so right! I am working in M mode with this lens but I didn't realize I would not see the effects of stopping down in the viewfinder but only in the final picture... doh :ugh:
Thank you for enlightening me :)

Hi, I have recently got my hands on one of the Sears 135mm f2.8.
Now, the lens is in mint condition, looks and feels very good.
My question would be, for the ones that have this lens, what should I do to be able to use the aperture ring? I mean it works when off camera, my K200D is set to allow the use of the ring, but I see no difference, it stays wide open all the time when on the body!
Any thought would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome!
As far as my avatar... here's the full version of it. I was just trying my hand on "product" type pictures.
PS: No, it's not me, I wish I was so cute :p
