Hi all,
I'm opening this post because I'm having trouble focusing with this lens (which I also think is great!).
But in AF-S mode, if I only use one AF point, most of the time the autofocus slips (small jerky movements) and cannot find the point for very long seconds (sometimes even failure ).
I find it frustrating because this difficulty made me miss some images that I would have liked to capture ... then which flew away!
Do you have the same problem ?
To overcome this, I have a few solutions:
- if large subject, AF 9 points, it matches every time
- Otherwise, having to be in AFC three quarters of the time
But, for each solution, autofocus isn't as accurate as AFS + single AF point.
other ideas to have better focus?

J'ouvre ce post parce que j'ai des difficultés de mise au point avec cet objectif (que je trouve par ailleurs génial !).
Mais en mode AF-S, si je n'utilise qu'un seul collimateur AF, une fois sur deux l'autofocus patine (petits mouvements saccadés) et n'arrive pas à trouver le point avant de très longues secondes (voire parfois échec).
Je trouve ça frustrant car cette difficulté m'a fait rater quelques images que j'aurais aimé capturer... puis qui se sont envolées !
Avez vous le même problème ?
Pour y pallier, j'ai des parades :
- si sujet volumineux, AF 9 collimateurs, ça match à chaque fois
- Sinon, obligé d'être en AFC les trois quarts du temps mais la qualité de la mise au point n'est pas aussi parfaite
d'autres idées ?
