I very recently bought the lens and this was my first time out with it. I was amazed by bokeh quality and general resolution, this one is my first to clearly outresolve the K5iis. It has very nice colour as well. Enjoy!
These are straight out of camera JPEGs by the way.

It looks great! Sharp enough to be proud of. Truly an example of what that lens is capable of!

Hi again. I was recently shooting on a mountain right near my house and as I imported my images I noticed the fact that I shoot more during the spring than any other season. This made me reflect on why I found this time so inspiring, and my conclusion is that the clash between the snow and ice I live with during the winter (as well as the limited colours) and the very beginning of life in the spring speaks to me. In my opinion, there is something beautiful in seeing the emerging grass and moss combine with icicles indicative of warming temperatures and the disappearing of snow. Every image I shoot in these conditions conveys a message of hope, growth and perseverance found in nature but also applicable to my general mood in springtime after many long, dark months of dreary winter. Enjoy!

That makes a lot of sense! Thanks for the information! Although I am not very knowledgeable with lenses, I think this might be what is creating a haze at low apertures with this lens.

HI! I use a generic metal adapter for MD to PK, of which I don't remember the manufacturer, and it has no branding. It does make the lens slightly longer but I haven't noticed anything in terms of focus distance. It also has a lens inside but I'm not sure of its purpose. Thanks!

I found this one in an old folder from back when I used this lens exclusively. I was evidently not great at exposure, but my trusty K5 iis corrected for my mistakes with great ISO performance.

Hi! I've been a Pentax user for a few years now and figured I would join this forum! And what better way than to post a few photos. For the first couple of years with my K5 iis I didn't have any decent autofocus lenses so I shot almost exclusively with my Minolta Rokkor 50mm f2, which was sharp and did a great job. Nowadays I also use the 35mm f2.4, which is also sharp to my liking (I do love some sharp photos).
