I dream of having that lens collection holy cow. That being said, full frame 36 megapixels is amazing and would make full use of your amazing lenses.

I only do photography, no video, otherwise I would have gone to mirrorless, and I'm really happy with the K1 II, BUT if they could improve the autofocus to get it close to the new K3, I would be floored. That's the only feature I'm jealous of from the mirrorless cameras.

Heya!
Sounds great, what kind of photography have you been doing? I'm looking to start getting more serious into photography as well, but life keeps ya busy haha

Hi Jens!
I'm on the K1 II myself and it is one heck of a camera for the price. If you can find a K1 II for a good deal, I think you should go for it. You can crop as much as you'd like with the plentiful 36 megapixels, I am sure that is useful for photographing birds. I pair mine with a 24-70 2.8, and although the autofocus performance isn't perfect, it still works decently well. The K3 III is a great camera too, but because it is such a new camera, there aren't that many good deals on it.
I am sure you won't go wrong with either though.
Good luck!

Nice price! My friend got one from a garage sale as well, but at double your price. She's loving it
