I bought a lens (20-40Ltd) from their site as a demo. No signs it had ever been out of the packaging. Very pleased, and IIRC, came UPS ground in a few days, well packaged.

Passed along the birthday wishes from you Lensmor, and from MarkJerling, Stifflegged and Racer. She was impressed with greetings 'from all over the world'. Her short time memory is not very good but she still recalls the past rather well. Nobody who meets her believes she's 101. She is in a senior apartment and we pay for assistance with showering prepping for bed and getting her to and from the cafeteria.
All in all, doing pretty well. I also than you for your birthday wishes.
As to what you said about your mom, mine sometimes gets confused and we wonder what's going on in that head. The rest of the time she seems pretty aware of everything. Her hearing has deteriorated partially due to a punctured eardrum in one ear she suffered years ago. Hearing aids help, mostly in the one ear, when she remembers to snap the battery door shut.

Long time ago I worked with a guy who wore a wig after being scalped by a hockey puck.

We had a two tone green 1959 Edsel wagon. Despite their reputation they were a good vehicle. Ford made a huge mistake separating them from being sold by Ford or Mercury dealers. They set up separate Edsel dealerships. Made a family vacation trip from Michigan via southern US routes to California and back via northern US routes towing a pop up camper. Mom, Dad, my three sisters and me. Tomorrow is Mom's 101th birthday. Still doing pretty amazing.

As an exercise to see/show what sharpening software can do with Lowell's downsampled Osprey image, I ran this through Topaz AI and about half the suggested amount. Here's the result, posted with Lowell's permission.
Top image original, bottom sharpened. FFIW

Hi Tina from Northern Michigan. You say you have been shooting with Pentax for thirty years, I'm curious what film camera(s) you used.

Had an amazing day yesterday with 71 Golden Eagles among the raptors migrating north across the straits of Mackinac. Multiple eagles were in the sky at any one time. More commonly the Goldens zoom north without hesitation. They were high enough to not provide close captures but these were acceptable to me. Glad I had the DA560 on the K3iii.

Just the opposite, I use the FA 77 Ltd. on both APC and FF so don't need the DA 70 Ltd. I agree with the glowing comments on the 77 from Clackers and the others here.

And again, you nailed it without the flippy screen. Just saying. Incidentally, I do like the moon lander screen on my K1, and I do hope if/when a K1 III comes it keeps that feature.

I don't see these perched very often, mostly on the ground or in flight. Nice captures.
