C1 V23 supports now K-3 III starting from build 16.2.1. I have installed it and looks ok. The price with MAYSALE23 coupon was 174,50 EUR (-50% from listprice 349 EUR). It took over two years from Phase One....:mad:

I have had C1 at least from version 4.8 and my current version is 21. Now Capture 1 is bombing me with all kind of offers and "loyalty gifts" for upgrading. But there is no point to upgrade before the PEF-support for K3-III is ready. Meanwhile I can use Silkypix (11 pro currently) and it serves that purpose very well in deed.

An amazingly effective solution is also a regular clean cotton swab, 4711 (Kölnisch Wasser) and Giottos Rocket Blower for drying. As a bonus, after that treatment the camera smells good. Tried a few times with success with my K-3 II and K-3 III.

Exactly. I use my 150-450mm lens with my K-3III almost exclusively for airplane photography and I have exactly the same experience. "Hold AF Status on" does not work at all. Images are mostly soft at all common F-stops (around F8). No problems with AF-C when it is set to off.

I have both, the M*300 and the 1,4x converter. That combination works very well with my K-5, K-3 II and K-3 III. Because the M*300 is very sharp (and compact) lens, it is therefore well suitable with the TC. M*300 is one of my best prime lenses ever.
