Thank you slowpez, I took them on Moosehead Lake in Spencer Bay, they were growing wild at a campsite I was visiting.

Thank You charliezap:) I too have shot with my Quantaray 70-300mm, the photo attached was taken last fourth of July in Bath, Maine. I spent 1200.00 on my Sigma, lot of money but I wanted it:lol:

I did not use a TC, it was cropped. I have since taken a few with my TC but none as good as this one. I am waiting for the full moon this tuesday and try another one. I prefer to take half moon, as there is more detail.
