Good to see they support the cameras with ongoing improvements, even if many of us may notuse some of the new features.
To me the Astrotracer type 3 is a big winner. What we really need is european video framerates: 25 and 50 fps, like my old K3.

Video on the k3-iii is good, but unfotunately european frame rates are not supported (unlike the k3, which has this). No 25 or 50 fps. Disappointing. 🙁

Impressive.
The astrotracer function works surprisingly well. This, with the high sensitivity of the k3-iii, makes it possible to do true astro pics with just the camera.
I use the gps plugin thingy on top. Will 1.40 provide an internal gps?

I have a large number of video clips from previous cameras (Pentax K3 and many others) all in 50p, 50i or 25p framerates. To add some new clips from the K3-iii, this comes in at either 30p or 24p. So, when integrated in the overall video, it looks terrible / jerky. There is simply NO possible way to avoid this. Framerate conversion can be done, but will never work well. It is physically impossible. :mad:
We need Pentax to add at least 25p, and also 50p or 50i to the K3-iii.:):). I am sure this can be done as a firmware update.
