Nice image 
The two stars in mention are 81Aqr and 82 Aqr in Aquarius, the are allways lined up like that, unlike Mars and Saturn ! Good catch

Yikes, I want mine in one piece :eek:
And mine also extends from gravity like yours and a lock for all positions would be awesome.
I might concider sending it in or hear if they can tighten it up some if possible.

I have not forced the movement in a rough way as I know it is delicate stuff I have in my hands. And I will definately just leave it alone from now on.:)

I had mine serviced due to a fall from a sofa onboard my boat. The bajonet was bendt a little. Will keep in mind to check if it develops more play during the months to come !
Btw I like your nic, I used to be a ski jumper myself from the age of 5 til 21, then I got tired of getting hurt when falling and sold my gear ! :lol:

To all of you that have the same lens, does your lense has any flex when fully extended ?
Mine feels a little wobbly beween the inner and outer tube !
When fully extended there is about 2mm of flex at the end of dewcap. I don't know if this will effect my pictures, but just wanted to hear with others.
Hope my english explains what I am wondering about !

It has been a cold start of the new year here in southern Norway.
I went to see my old work mates and see if they managed the job without this retired guy, and they sure did ;)
Had my K1 with me and shot a cpl of pics out over the harbour inlet before driving home to the comfort of my fireplace.
Both images shot at f/11 1/60 sec ISO 100 with Sigma DG HSM 50mm 1:1.4

The old crane is taking it's last trip before turning into scrap metal.
I used to work for this harbour as a craneoperator/crane maintainance guy and I have spendt some hours on this crane. Bon Voyage.

Found this shot from 2016, taken in a hotel garden on Cuba.
Wife and I was having a walk after supper and I thought I could hear something in the trees. This was just a lucky shot with onboard flash cause it was too dark to see anything realy.
