One step at a time. I'll be evaluating what glass I need as I get used to the new camera. For now I have the 28-105 kit lense, a few old manual lenses from the past, and a k-mount adapter for my Meade ETX90.

I'm not made of money so I'll be looking to rent and borrow some of the above for evaluation so wish me luck :-) Right now I'm trying to decide on either a 50mm macro or 100mm macro as the first test.

I had that happen with Adorama back in the late 1990s or early 2000s. I had even placed the order over the phone but had a call back from them before shipping.
Fast forward to the present - last Sunday I placed the online order for a K1 II and it was processed and shipped out Monday and arrived on Tuesday with zero additional contact.
TLDR: Adorama has been doing a version of this for a long time, but not with every order. YMMV.

Hi. Just ordered a K1 Mk II. This will be my first DSLR. I shot film for a long time then life got in the way. I've been buying a DSLR for about 7 years. I've primarily shot landscapes, street, and animals.
