Hello everyone, I recently bought a non MLU 6x7. After shooting a roll, I ran into an issue where the last frame would be cropped hence only getting 9 exposures per roll.
I’ve read on this thread that this issue might be resolved by aligning the start arrow with the tiny screw just below the battery check button (instead of the orange dot) https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/threads/pentax-6x7-uneven-frame-spacing.673479/
And I’ve tried this to no avail (still getting the 10th frame cropped). I suspect that I did not manage to align the start arrow well below the screw. Does anyone here know how to correctly align the start arrow further to the left of the orange dot? Has anyone encountered this lost frame issue?
Many thanks!
Here’s the cropped last frame:

Hi everyone, thanks for chiming in.
I decided not to perform the de-yellowing process, after shooting one roll through it. Turns out the yellowing on my lens has zero to negligible effects on the overall image quality.

Hi everyone, thanks a lot for the information.
I have actually put this lens under a UV LED for about 3 days, and sadly no improvements have been made.
I read on an older thread that the UV wavelength matters as well. What I have at the moment is a short wavelenght (~290 nm) UV LED. I think it might take weeks to get a significant result using this LED. I'm looking to get a longer wavelenght UV LED (400 nm), and see if it will speed up the de-yellowing process.

Hi Richard, thanks for your reply.
I mainly shoot color. How much of a color cast would show up on the images? Can it still be corrected in post? Thanks

Hi guys,
A couple days ago I acquired a super takumar 2.4/105 for my 6x7. I noticed quite a yellowing had occured on the lens. I wonder if this yellowing would significantly affect image quality?
Thanks
