OK, I've only had my new K70 for a week, but I just discovered if in manual mode, I can focus on a subject, and if I press the OK button, it zooms in for a few seconds so you can check the focus better. Neat!

I too have seen the You Tube video's where they zoom in, to check focus, then back out to take the pic. I have not found a way to do that with the K70, yet....

Thanks for all the reply's. I can tell this is a nice forum. Been playing, experimenting with my new K70, and also my old istD. Went through all my older lens, most all are manual. Got most off ebay, cheap. I discovered lens, like most other things, you get what you pay for! Still, I have some strange ones, with strange names. Now interested in MACRO. I can't see spending the BIG money on a new MACRO lens, so what do you all recommend for a used lens. I do have some spacers ordered, but not here yet. I have lot's to learn, and my poor old head (72) is having a hard time retaining all the information. BUT, I'm having fun. Did some stacking stuff too! yee haw! |

Hi everyone. Just joined this forum. I have a now very old Pentax istdl and got it out of the closet to re evaluate. I also have a box full of different lens I accumulated over the years. Been looking at some of the newer models like the K70. Might order a K70 body. Any suggestions ????:)
