This Green Heron gave me my very first birding photo op with the K-70 (116th photo from the start) on an early morning in August. I was shooting in a south-southwesterly direction at 8:06 am in York County, Maine. 2021 brought me several photos of Juvenile Great Blue Herons, Finches, Sandpipers, Piping Plovers, and many other birds. The expression of the heron here says that something is "for the birds" so I find this photo very much suited to 2021!
The shutter speed was actually 1/400 but not available in the drop down so I used the next closest option.
My last Pentax camera was the P30T 35mm film back in the 90's. I am glad to be back into photography and looking forward to trying my vintage wide-angle lens on the K-70.
