Having tried many systems, I've returned to Pentax as its by far the most fun and well featured option for me.
This is my first MW photo using my newly acquired K-70 and a 35mm f2.4 da lens.
It's a vertical pano of three frames.
Sky settings were, Astrotracer, 60 seconds, f3.2, ISO1600
Foreground settings were Pixel Shift, 30 seconds, f5.6 ISO3200
Processed in Adobe Photoshop. |

Thanks everyone for the kind welcomes.
I traded in my K-S2 and K-5 for a mint condition K-70 this week.
As I do a lot of astrophotography the K-70 looked my best option within my budget.
Here's my 1st astrophoto using the K-70 with the 35mm f2.4 DA lens and astrotracer.
It's a vertical pano of 3 frames

Hi everyone!
Thanks for the welcome :-)
I've also got myself a K-S2 (Couldn't afford the K-70 sadly)
I've added to my lenses as well.
Now I have the... 18-135 ED AL, 50mm f1.8 DA, 35mm f2.4 DA and the Samyang 14mm f2.8
Looking forward to getting some starry landscapes with the O-GPS1 module as well :-)
Happy shooting!

Hi, My names Jason and I'm based on the East coast of England.
I've had a few Pentax cameras in the past, KS-2, K-70 and K-3ii but left the Pentax line up last year when I wen over to using Fujifilm Mirrorless cameras.
But I just couldn't stay away!
I missed the tactile feel and joy of using a Pentax DSLR, so I have picked up a K-5 with a couple of lenes. ( 18-55mm DA AL & a Sigma 70-300)
Looking forward to enjoying my return to the system and experiencing the quality of the 16 mega pixel sensor. :)
