Ok,update,i did it this morning, took me over 2 hours,i'm never ever going to do that again, rather pay someone, you see, work wise, i swing things like hammers and angle grinders around most days, that was way way to fiddly for my hands,it also came to a close point where a K70 was about to take wings and fly out the back door
Does it work, well yes it does, the future,i think theres going to be a K70 up for sale in the very soon
Thanks for the help everyone

Undecided as of yet, really enjoy this month until i got a big minus, but,i also got a big plus to(lens issue)
Have to say that Sigma DC 17-70 2.8-45 is a cracker, and a real bargain also, got it extra cheap(£30) because of a small scratch to the front glass, never showed up once,so 8/10 for me

Hi all, well as said before the sigma DC 17-70 got a stray bullet form somewhere, wounded but not dead, took time out today to see if it was repairable
After some research,i came across this guy

You Tube

Believe it or not, mine had the same problem,of course took me a lot longer to do(2hrs) but i got there,i now have the lens back and working,i'm a happy chappy.
PS,i have a brief description on what i did, with a few pics, wheres the best place on the site to post it?
Cheers

Well i enjoyed the challenge this month and the lens, although i wont give it 10/10,maybe a 8,just,had to sharpen up a little bit in post most of the time, still, switching the brain to B&W while seeing colour was a learning curve
Alas, the last week or so has been hectic due to work commitments,so quite annoyed i didnt finish off the month fully
