When shooting jpg I use SATOBI most of the time with a slightly warmer WB setting.
For k5ii (which iirc lacks Satobi) try MUTED with red or cyan toning, boost the saturation up, boost the hi/low key up, boost the contrast up. Warm up your WB setting. Have fun, and remember to keep experimenting! I shot for a long time with MUTED and SHADE white balance. Example follows:

Some of my most popular shots were done on a half-frame Ricoh caddy. See below. Problem is, it’s old and sometimes the aperture and shutter gets sticky. I ought to get it CLA’d; but im excited for this to come out so I can use it out and about.

The da 10-17 fisheye is sharp sharp; allowing for me to crop and compose in post. Not even really a fisheye image anymore 😅

Hoping it’s a 28/2.8 AF cam, with half-frame mode, which would make it *checks math* a 40ish equivalent. Built-in flash would be great as well. Hip kids these days are all about film; so this could be huge for Pentax.

Ricoh has stated SLR photography as being one of the principles of the PENTAX legacy. Perhaps they are going to explore pentaprismless camera design more under the GR brand?
If it’s an ILC, it would be a bummer for it to be a specific GR-mount, as that would mean investing in an all-new system 😵*💫
It would be amazing for a mirrorless GR branded k-mount camera, but (as we saw with the k-01) it would have to be bulky due to the registration distance…
Still, the thought of buying a 28mm f2 GR lens for my k-mount bodies… that would be a day 1 purchase.

does anyone else’s focal-length “brain” work better in full frame? Does anyone understand what I mean by that? Not that it matters much in this cropped da 10-17 fisheye shot.
