I know its been a bit and i apologize i didn't respond sooner but the over sharpening i have a hard time with because to me it almost gives an aha take on me look. Which has its place but to me it overexaggerates the already heavy wrinkles and age. it definitely gives a different viewpoint and would work for some people i just dont feel it works for my photo

Well that will do it. Looks like it has a +2 diopter in it. I was losing my mind... 4 wasted rolls testing with each lens but at least now i know. Luckily seems like i can buy a replacement on ebay.

I bought a 6x7 and possibly Jameson helped me buy several lenses but still have a 45 f4, 55 f3.5, 105 f2.4 and a 90-180 f5.6... all of them I'm having focus issues with. How do you tell what diopter is in there...
I'm seeing zero markings for anything

lol i had the hardest time with Dee Dee because so many sequins it wouldn't focus on her face only her hat

i like that. I left extra in to show him in his natural environment if you will the carts movement and hustle bustle of a fairgrounds but this is more of a true portrait crop

Need advice how to develop this pic. I think I did ok but I feel like something is missing. This is my mentor electrician Bob. He was on stage here at the Monterey fairgrounds in '67 for the pop festival. He was in the footage grabbing his mics from the Who breaking gear on stage and Jimmy lighting his guitar on fire. I have been trying for years literally to get a good shot and i finally feel i got him...

I do but it has not been working for years now. Had shutter issues. I keep it with my Minoltas more for memories than anything. Still used the lenses with my k-50 though

I grew up with Minolta. My dad had an XE-7 and an XK, i found my happy place there for a long time. Then I got an sfx and was sold... took a while but got a K-50 that has taken me all over the world and finally got a K-1 recently and im waiting to see where this one will accompany me
