That 16KP is dead sharp in the middle but not easy to use and I haven't shot too many pictures with it. I have now finished adapting the helio 92/2 and it turned out great I just have to fine-tune the outer dimensions so that it fits nicely :)

The only lens I have Wich has to to be very close to the sensor is the KP16 50 F1.2. sharp little lens with a crazy swirly bikes 😂.
Yeah I thought as much that I was wrong with my calculations 😂.

Just realized that my measurements are wrong. 38mm is my adapter length to achieve infinity focus. But I haven't taken into consideration the distance from the flange to the adapter haha 😂. I might remeasure everything the classical way with a paper and a window 😂.

It is fun indeed 😁. But the trial and error is a bit frustrating and time consuming 😂. I'm not the most patient guy. I do know the method to find out the focal distance with a paper and a wall. But it looks like to achieve infinity focus I need a shorter distance of 38mm from the lens to the sensor. Mine is in mint condition so I don't think that something is of.
I use the thread to tool to create the mount it is much easier. But for the helix inside I have to create one from scratch and I don't seem to get it right. Years ago I worked with soldiworks in school but it's been like 25 years.
Now I'm waiting for a helicoid from China with brass inserts they are cheaper and smoother but as I said waiting is not my forte 😂.
Nevertheless it is a cool process to model something. I did calibrate my e steps plus flow rate in my printer and I still don't get accurate prints so it is trial and error 😂

I love the way you edit your photos absolutely stunning.
There are some differences indeed. The lens length is 80.85mm the diameter of the barrel is 42.5mm. I managed to find that the distance to the sony sensor is 19.82mm to get infinity focus. But The lenses don't go to the entire length of the barrel. They are recessed inside with a total length of 18.25mm. So to the sensor plane, there is a 38.07mm distance. I guess that 38 should be fine to get infinity focus. So I get infinity focus and I'm waiting for a 52mm helicoid to try to come later with a proper adapter. I wanted to use an internal helicoid but I'm not good at designing so I have difficulties designing a helicoid that fits. Well put it simply in onshape I can't properly design it ^^. I wanted to use the grooves to focus it but I'm not a great designer haha.

Adapter is still loose so taking pictures is a bit difficult. Focusing is not the most accurate but the pics are quite sharp.

I am finally a member of the "projector Lens" Club haha ^^. Got myself a Leitz 90 f2.5 Colorplan from Portugal but I haven't adapted it yet. I've seen a member here that is absolutely terrific in 3d modeling to adapt lenses. I do have a 3d printer but I am not a great 3d modeler maybe he could help me out :). Scratchpaddy if you could help me out I'd be very grateful :)

Hi guys,
Long-time lurker on this forum and decided to register to be able to communicate with fellow amateurs of photography.
Unfortunately, I don't own a Pentax camera but I'm looking to get one, well technically I own one, the Spotmatic that I bought with my Takumar 50 f1.4 that I absolutely love :).
I'm a nurse and not a professional photographer so please excuse my ignorance in some cases ^^.
Have a nice evening guys!
