I meant by working well is.. it is safe to attach the flash to K200D referring to the trigger voltages.
As I always shoot in manual - to learn and as I use manual lenses more than other lenses - I usually change the settings to the desired levels.
I actually not sure how much PTTL is usefull or important.
One thing I couldn't figure out is how to set the zoom level in the flash in manual lenses as it always lit to 28, when I use my kit lens it set the zoom level to the lens' zoom level.

Hi all,
i have recently purchased Sigma EF430ST flash from ebay and checked with my K200D. It is working very well and I am in the process of taking some bounce photos of my kids.
The photos are coming very well.
The trigger voltage is at around 4.5V DC ( as stated in one of the sites).
Does anyone know why I cannot set the shutter speed for more than 1/180.
I always use manual mode setting.

I have my Sony s40 P&S camera which I bought to capture the moments of my first son about 3 years back (I have about 10Gigs of photos of my both sons now.) , but never shot any landscapes, this is my first experience with landscape photography.
I am really happy with the comments I have received, though I am still admiring the photos taken by others and always think how can I improve my photos to look like them.
Apart from some of my family photos which was taken by Pentax A 50mm/1.7 I still couldn't get sharp photos like others, I don't know why..?

Thank you all for the comments.
The comments are very encouraging.
Damn Brit.. I will post some photos on the thread itself on my future threads.
Suresh.. I didn't notice that there was a mark on the UV filter, I was able to clean that up.
Wombat.. yes I shoot in raw I will try to do some sharpening and see how I can improve the photo.
I always love learning new things..
Thank you all again for your comments.

Thanks you all for the replies..
Yes it is warm here.
Wombat, thanks for your comments on the photos. Those were my first landscape photos when I went on holidays with my family to Bermagui.
The black spot on the photos are a mark on the UV filter which I noticed (and cleaned) only when I returned back.
With 2 kids under 3 (and my wife) I really strugled to get those photos and still do.
But I will post some photos on the section you suggested ASAP
Thanks all again.

G'day all,
I have recently bought a Pentax K200D with Sigma 18-55mm kit lens.
I am really happy with the performance of the camera.
I am now considering buying some lenses from ebay.
Please have a look at my photo site and let me know of the goods and bads of my photography.
Thanks very much,
