Come on, Pentax! Seems again lack of video features. I hoped all the time they will release a software upgrade for the old k5 which would enable manual shutter speed, iso, mic sensibility (and 60fps?) etc (I believe it's technically possible). Pentax doesn't need to compete Canon in video but they simply had to improve video possibilities, at least for the new K-5.

+1 , that would be a great "gift" for k-5.
the lack of video controls (mostly shutter speed) is the only thing I highly dislike in k-5. and I'm not considering to buy an alternative camera like GH2 just only for videos like others do.

seems too unstable to use it, so many bugs. tested with k-5 and k200d. (win7 x64 if that matters, recognized both cameras well).

didn't find on search my problem.
it's discussed here Aperture stuck in stopped-down position after exposure - Samyang 85mm: Pentax SLR Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review
but, on k-5 it expresses when switching on and off LV and then something stucks. I turn off the camera but k-5 is then confused and nothing works. either I take out the battery or for one degree turn out the lens, then it goes back to normal.
as it's mentioned on dprev forum, seller will replace it.
but maybe there is another solution? maybe it's not exactly the same problem.
I'm really confused, especially when it stucks and k-5 gives out that seizing sound, I don't know how much harm it leaves then.

I wonder if very long exposure, about 2 hours, could leave any harm to my k-5, sensor damge etc.
