Thank you. Shooting only irregularly these days. Missing vibes....:( But great to see some old friends still around...:)
Thank you, Tony!

Thank you Todd!
Thanks a lot! I always keep moving my camera in different positions, to find the best composition. Often these half-half landscapes do it for me, at least when in such a flat environment... And I love the idea of 'letting the land meet the sea, unseen, halfway..."
Thanks, Angky, for the kind words as well as the thoughts!

Some time ago (ahum) since I posted photos here...
Last week, I worked at the island of Vlieland, for me one of the most beautiful places in our country. Had the chance to shoot some landscape photos and I hope you like them!
As you might notice, most (in this case: all) of my landscapes don't comply the rule of thirds, as the horizon is just in the dead centre of the photos. For landscapes with such wide horizons, without much of a major subject and the sea and land touching and flowing over into eachother, I feel this is the most appropriate. At least I like it this way, more than 2/3 land-1/3 sea, or the other way around. Hope you can live with it...

I like it. The only thing that distracts me is the light patch underneath the person. Make it black, and you have a very attractive photo!

I think we all need it from time to time. For me that is: from second to second... Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
As Norbert said, it's maple. Even worse: dried maple.... But it great sharp edges, more and better than for instance birch.....
Thank you! ---------- Post added 09-28-21 at 08:32 PM ----------

At least different from photography, yes!
Thanks Jer! One of the benefits of Covid-19: time to learn myself something completely different (and I wanted for years already...)
Hope you are healthy and safe!

Sorry for the cell phone pic, but I just wanted to show you a new hobby I "developed" in the Covid period: whittling, green woodworking, and especially the making of wooden spoons. Kitchen spoons, ladles, and eating (table) spoons. I only use hand tools: knives, axe, sometimes a saw to make larger stop-cuts, and a little stone for burnishing. I needed something to ease my mind, to stop thinking and worrying.... Cutting spoons empties my head, and I have to concentrate (otherwise I'll loose some fingers) so I have to stop thinking about the world around me...

Hi Steve, still around, I see? Great!
I want to apologize for being your stumbling block, albeit a shared responsibility.... On the other hand: the Tak 105/2.8 is one of my favourite lenses, and it surprises me you don't have one yet. And yes, on the Spot it will look nice (an understatement). As on every camera, I guess....

Just a random garden shot. I like how it came out, with the bokeh and the impressionistic second Iris....

Thanks! And thank you for your comments. It's a flaw in my PP, I'm afraid, some dodging and burning, and not too much precision...:(
