I found a post on another forum that gives the maximum exposure time for various focal lengths and declinations to avoid trailing. For 50mm the maximum exposure lies between 20 and 75 seconds and it's recommended to use only 1/3 of the maximum time to get sharp pictures.

Yes, this does only affect files imported after it is set as default. If you click the "Reset" button the current default settings will apply to already imported images.

Select the profile you want to use by default, hold down the ALT key and the "Reset" button changes into "Set as Default..." click on it and select "Update to Current Settings". This will set ALL the current settings as default, not just the Camera Calibration.

K200D has got AF.C, only difference as I understand it is that you have to change AF mode through the menu.
