I had plenty of Tona and Too much Flora De Cana Rum:fedup: I grabbed a few bottles of 12 year old rum for Home and some Cigars.....I had a great time. Its like an untouched (from to many tourists) Costa Rica at half the price...

I recently Spent two weeks in Nicaragua on vacation. I had a great time.
The capital managua is a fairly modern city, but many buildings where destroyed in the earth quake of 1972 and never rebuilt. All that remains of old downtown are the Bank of America Building which is the Tallest building in the city and the Inter-continental hotel where Howard Hughes was living (when the earth quake struck, He left within 5 minutes and watched as the city burned from his private plane and never returned). Managua looks like a large suburban city
The shell of the old Cathedral still stands but hasn't been occupied since the quake.petty theft and the occasional protest and riot. Most of the commercial area that had the taller buildings were destroyed

Old colonial city of Granada, Established in the early 1500's by Spanish Conquistidor Fransisco Cordoba.

I picked up the DA 50-200 from the marketplace for 115$ shipping included, and was very impressed with the lens...I usually shoot wide, but this will be great for street shots without getting in peoples faces...
