I ended buying the part at uscamera
Was ~$50 with shipping.
The nice part was that i ordered it on Sunday and the whole transaction took 2 minutes.
It came already and is works.

Wow, this thing is so fragile!
Do you know the part number/name for the hot shoe? May be it is sitting there somewhere on e-bay...
