I have both and have not found anything in PS that PSP can't do and PSP is easier to learn and use.

Get the Spotty, multitude of M42 lenses on ebay. The Taks and Zeisses on M42s are great and cheap.

I put a small bit of black tape and folded it over the top. When I open the cover it pops up and I grasp it with thumb and forefinger, problem solved.

I was fiddling around with digital filters once and didn't get it out of B&W properly and it did that.

I am always suprised by this kind of bias and brand loyalty. I remember taking pictures as good with my Fed 2 as Leica photographers as well as taking as good pictures with my old pentax as well as the Canikons.

I have the CJZ version of this lens. I don't know what year it was made. Its small, light and has great bokeh.

The dimensional tolerances per batch or from one manufacturer to the next probably results in this. This a common sense and reliable fix.

Ooops, just realized you were talking about the K-X and I about the K-7. The K-X does not have user on mode dial.

Maybe this is the point of have "user" on the mode dial. You can set everything up like you want and then save it to user.:)

I just went from the istD to the K7 and I am very happy I did. Like night and day from the istD.

This problem started when all cameras started putting digital information on the screens. My old Pentax ME had big bright viewfinder.

Isn't DNG just Adobes version of RAW software? I don't think it is anymore of a standard than anything else.

So you see we were told years ago DNG was going to be an open format so all cameras would be supported. Ha, DNG is nothing more than just another plot by Adobe to make more money from you.

For crying out loud, how much lead would be in the lens? If they can sell lead filled mercury floresence bulb why not a teleconverter. I wouldn't eat any more lens than I do lightbulbs.
