The next set of lenses in the roadmap will allow you to take a photo up to 10 seconds into the past. There'll be a rear dial allowing a selection of 2, 5 or 10 seconds. Manual focus only though. :P

Wow, and her facial expression - it's got a certain appeal to it but can instill a sense of fear, very fitting.

I've got the 100mm WR 2.8, and the Raynox DC-250. It's a good combination to be able to get 2:1.
Here's a photo of my own eye that i did with that combination...
Took a lot of tries as i was getting blinded from the macro ring light :P
but i like this one since you can see the reflection of the raynox.

Surprisingly, the Cactus LV5 appears to have only really gone up in price. Not sure if there's any any alternatives!

Taken so long ago, but I do remember the light source was just a an ordinary desk lamp, and that I did spend a while positioning it around the time pieces and changing the angles/heights.

I can't imagine it being particularly cost prohibitive.
CRKennedy aside from being a distributor of stuff is also the repairer of said stuff (from their Melbourne office).
So they'll be the ones doing the replacement and not outsourcing anything - they'll get everything direct from the manufacturer.

It's not like you've formulated perfectly grammatically correct sentences either. A single typo and apparently it's the end of the world. Sheesh. You should try writing multiple 80 page engineering documents, there's bound to be errors - that's why they get reviewed by multiple people before going into approval and publication.
Any engineer would know they make the absolute perfect products, components, etc. They design it to system specs and requirements. An engineer knows how things work, how components fail, and how to fix them. If a product fails on the marketplace - well, that's the fault of sales/marketing and business development. Something for upper management to probe into and do a lessons learnt session where one or two things get pulled forward into future projects. Us engineers, however, we're fine :D

Fact: A few months after the K-01 was discontinued, they re-released it in Japan in a blue and white motif due to demand and its visual appeal.
In other-words the camera, while it was largely considered unattractive ( which is bad in a global market space when you're in the business to sell stuff), was still liked by people regardless. Why is this so hard to get across? To claim something as ugly as fact is just plain wrong. Which is what your original quoted statement said - quite clearly. Popular thought/opinion does not make a truth/fact. Whilst it is true to say that popular opinion considered the K-01 ugly, it is not true to say that everyone considered it ugly.

UNSW graduate with a Bachelors of Engineering, First Class Honours... quite proud of it really.
Regardless, we are arguing over a single statement you made
That's definitely something to think about.

Nope, cause my father wasn't born here and couldn't give two-hoots about the monarchy or republican movement.
But that's a different topic altogether.
It doesn't matter if you want to play around with semantics or go into psychology/biology instead of philosophy, your opinion or unattractiveness to an inanimate object can differ from others and so calling the design disgusting and labelling it a fact is not the right approach.

Beauty (Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy)
TL;DR attractiveness/aesthetics is subjective and objective depending on philosophical standpoint.
I like the camera, I don't think it's ugly.
In the same way that my father considers the actress Meghan Markle to be ugly, I find her quite attractive.
