I took my K20 back to the store where I bought it today and they exchanged it for a new one without any hassle. Hopefully the new one won't have any problems.

I have had a similar experience as others with the K20D freezing up. I bought my K20D on Dec 26 and the camera has frozen up each of the past three days. On the first day it was freezing up after every picture I took. If I remove the battery the camera resets itself but this is annoying and should not be happening with a brand new camera. I don't use a battery grip and I am using a Sandisk extreme SD card.
