Item Description
The camera works perfectly well and all comes with all original accessories and components . I purchased it new and love the camera but am parting with it because I've downsized to smaller, lighter micro-four thirds gear. Have sold all my Pentax system gear but this body.
Pentax K-5: $600 $550 - The camera comes with all original packing, cables, manual, and viewfinder cap plus an extra Pentax OEM battery and the O-ME53 1.2x magnifying eyepiece (the stock eyepiece is also included). The shutter count is 9,419. I also have a good third party book by Yvon Bourke on the K-5 in PDF format that I'll pass on with the camera.

Pentax, repeal your UPP. You make good lenses, but they are not better than the competition which also offers a wider array of lenses. How then does the UPP increase your sales???

The lens gives great images and works perfectly. The glass is pristine as I've had a UV filter on it over the eight months I've had it. Case included as is a Nice Clip on the lens cap so you can clip it to your camera strap, pocket, etc. I'm pleased with the lens' performance, but am selling it because I find I only tend to use the 200mm end of the range and I seem to be finding more and more use for a weather resistant lens so have bought a DA* 200mm F/2.8 lens. $675 Price Reduced to $625

I haven't been paying much attention to the photo count on shots taken with my new K-5 that I've only had for about 6 weeks now. I recently noticed that on Jan 21st, the photo/file name count was 204, but on Jan 27th it had jumped to 6742! Any ideas how this might have happened? My camera is set to increment file name numbers and other than this one time leap, it does that perfectly.
I checked the shutter count on Feb 26th and it was 1,054. When I subtracted the ~6,500 jump from current file name numbers I come up with around 1,000 shots which aligns well with the shutter count. I've now reset the file name count in camera to align with the actual shutter count, but would be curious if anyone has any thoughts on what may have caused the leap? Could it be something to do with switching SD cards which I think I did back in Jan?
