Hi!
I know you guys have helped me out a lot of times. Now I have two questions i hope someone can answer.
1. Does Pentax have any Flag-ship SLR autofokus-camera around? I looking like crazy in the camera data-base but i can't find anything.
We had the Pentax LX as a flagship on the manual fokus line. Now we have k-5, but autofokus SLR?
(I looking for a weather-resistant travel-mate that can produce good shots) just like an old time k-5, but in the modern segment. Where shall i look?
2. Is it possible to use a Pentax FA-lens on a Pentax ME, and in this case. What will happen?
(my plan to bring a very small and light camera, pentax me seamed like a good idea. But the M-lens pancake is not very good and i would love to use some of the FA-alternatives instead. With a handhold meter, i will shot manual so exposure is no problem.
thanks
Emil

Hello Folks!
Im back from a longer break here at the forums, and it's nice to see you all again. :)
Don't sure where to poster this so I try out here.
There are a lots of cheaps X2 converters out there with K-mount.
For example from Auto, Makinon ect.
I wonder if it's worth buy on of these at all, or is the image quality just terrible?
Problem is that older/cheaper Pentax Orginal converters are damn hard to find on the market and they are expensive as well.
Still standing here in Sweden in front of an giant Moose, I need an converter to get in closer.
Any ideas my friends? How did you solve the problems?
Best Regards
Emil

Hello!
Im back from a longer time off the forum.
Saw there are a lots of competitions around, and that Pentax cameras do well as always.
News from me is emilgustavsson.se - Open Galleries that have been a well visited site here in Sweden and in many other countries too. Some days over 200 visitors.
It's an online gallery that is updated weekly with a new "gallery of the week"
Every shot made by Pentax K20d.
Nice to see you guys again!
Best Regards

Hello!
I have shot a lot of film using my nikon, but any weeks ago I bought a used Pentax ME for 7$. (that way I can use my lenses on both k20d and me today)
The problem is that the backdoor is stuck (and I really mean stucked!) really really stucked!! :hmm:
I can't open it.
The little button that I can turn around with a coin is just so used that I don't get some "Grip" to be able to open it.
I have puched very hard intill my face almost become tomato-red, but it wount open! The only thing that happens is that I destroy the metal on the underside of the camera even more :(
How should I do?? I can't reload it with film right now :(
Any kind pentax hero that could share some moment of knowledge and help me out please?

that seams like a lot of OS!! :D
I thinking about go linux on my PC at home...I have vista today, but since microsoft fired me I will change all my software belonging to them!
Do you have any good tips about some good and stable linux? I have heard a lot about abuntu. Could that be a good choice?
Today I run macbook pro, PC-vista in house and my girlfriends laptop-lord linux (spanish-swedish version) actually a very good one.
I feeling most confortable working in OS leopard :)

I mean: the real gold-mine is pentax from the film-age. I would dig in that one insteed :)

Soon we will see an automatic shutter that takes the images when they are perfect...then we don't need photographers, and the photography is dead!
Happy now?
(my gosh, is it only me or do people really need this improvements???)

Shot film and you will never have the problem.
Or stop down when you shot with the lens.
aperture like 6,3 or less could be a good choice.
There are several tweaks to get sharp photos. mirror lookup, tripod always, stop down ect ect.
And i only say this one time!
It's not about the camera. If you don't get sharp shots, it's becasue of your knowledge.

yeah...i guess you are right. But I mean a linux version created to get a better workflow for a photographer.
Os x and windows and most of the linux/unix are not specialisised for photographers.
I mean a real OS photographer ! :D
