1. The meaning of "what we see is what we get" refers only to the area you are seeing not to the image quality itself.

2. Remember that even a fixed mirror must stay at 45š inclination, so not that thinner body as you wish.

Pentax LX metering question

If you use it in Automatic exposure the camera is metering in real time from the film reflection so it should be an easy operation.

Don't get confused with the M28/3.5. The recommended 3,5 is the K28/3.5 not the M28/3.5. See the lens reviews

Didn't know about AA lithium 1.5 V batteries. Sorry. For me it's Alkaline 1.5V. Lithium... no thanks. RuiC

quote:
"Although the higher OCV of the LiFeS2 system is 1.8 volts, the nominal or rated voltage is 1.5 volts which makes it a suitable replacement for alkaline and nickel systems. The battery voltage will drop when it is placed under load. For this reason, the higher OCV will typically not damage electronic components, but device designers should take into consideration that the OCV of fresh batteries can range from 1.79 to 1.83V."

Wrong battery you got there! AA batteries to be used are the 1.5V alkaline type. Lithium batteries are 3V and come in another package.

Yes, it is a K mount lens! That aperture lever should never have been bent, unless there is a particular reason for it! You just straighten it up and there you go!

Take the lens out, fire the shutter in B mode without film and back cover closed. With a light behind, look through the mirror box to trace the leak!

Mount a 645 120mm + adapter on a K body and then mount a SMC K 120mm on the same K body and compare!! Thatīs all you need!

NO, NO. A 80-160 645 lens with the 645xK adapter will still have the same FOV in 35mm as is in 645. Try to find the 645 x K adapter manual and read carefully!! I have several 645 lenses and they have the very same FOV in the 35mm format as the K lenses counterpart.

That would be true IF you mount a 645 directly on a K body. As that is impossible and an adapter is needed for that what makes the 645 lens to behave the same as the K lens in terms of FOV.

Yes, Sintra, Quinta da Regaleira is a must but booked with a guide! Lisbon is very nice for street photography around Alfama and Mouraria, Bairro Alto. Just walk around with your eyes open! :) For Sintra take the train, don't go by car!

If you go north to Porto (2,5 hours by fast train from Lisbon) you'll find it addicting, just walk downtown near the river and don't forget to visit Livraria LELLO one of the most beautiful architecture you can find.
Evora is SE of Lisbon, and Guimaraes NE of Porto are also worth a visit.

Enjoy portuguese cuisine!!
