You may be interested in attaching a filter ring--in order to attach filters, hood, and (regular) lens cap. Removed the glass from a 30.5 mm filter and attached the ring w/ gaffer's tape.
Using gray tape it almost looks like it came this way! (And even more so if I had been really careful cutting the tape.)

I'm excited that Ricoh hasn't stopped development on the Pentax 645D. The world needs someone to push the staid and stuffy medium-format digital market forward!

You are probably still going to want that Sigma lens. Really the best thing to do is to just wait until you can afford it. Its also the less fun idea ;)

The Q7 can go a stop or two higher ISO before you get comparable noise vs the Q.
