1. The camera has 1 position for FF|BF fine tuning for each lens. The FF|BF behavior of a lens with a convertor is different. Only manual focusing is precise.
2. The SR receives wrong info about the focal length of the lens when a converter is mounted and spoils images.
3. I've got a Kenko 2x TC7, il spoils the IQ greatly for most of the lenses. The most suitable lenses for this TC are 43lim and 77lim.

Seems that Ned means the MF EVIL. Great if so.

The only thing in K7 that should be better is the sensor.
I see no way for Pentax to get and adopt better sensor in reasonable time.
So, K7 is a right choice now.

I voted EVIL, but that's only partial answer.
I'd like to have APS-C (doesn't matter, EVIL or not but not less featured than K7 with better sensor) + 645 EVIL.
Full frame is a foolish idea. Next logical step after APS-C is cropped 645, anything between add too few.

Almost sure then they plan to repeat the k10d - k20d situation - a fine new body with average sensor. and in a year the same body with better sensor.

This third picture definitely shows the 645d because:
(a) you can see the second tripod mount on the left side
(b) the mirrorbox is very long, it extends forward more then the diameter of the dial

What you say is the result of shake reduction. Just turn it off.

No mirror and tilt/shift sensor with DR 12.
Everything else may stay the same.

And what about a soft K-m?
One can use it instead a pillow...

Something like Pentax 645d with its great ergonomics and weather sealing.
But it should be mirrorless. EVIL.
With tilts and shifts of the sensor. It's of course impossible on a reflex camera but absolutely possible on EVIL. To supply shifts with existing lens, the sensor must stay the same 35x48 mm size.

No. Just my own comparison af many well-known small things.
Yes, I've got a small piece of inside informnation on the EXR sensor that says just that in indirect manner. And there also was Fujifilm's last year interview on Fotokina, where it was said directly that the EXR technology will never be used for large sensors.

Fuji's 2-years old leak about S6 (or S10) included both terms "mirrorless" and "new mount".

Just a speculation...
On the one side, we've got 3 infos from Samsung about the NX, half a year ago, one month ago and several days age. If to compare them and if to analyse technologies and timings - becomes evident that shortly after start of the NX project, Samsung purchased some team, having this project almost ready.
On the other side, two years ago there was a leak that the next Fuji's top camera woud be mirrorless and it will appear soon.
On the third side, half a year ago Fuji announced, that it concentrates on compacts with ECR sensor, that is completely unusable with focal plane shutters because of sequentially working dual capacities on the sensor.
At last, I don't know any other team close enough to build such a camera, that could be purshased by Samsung.
1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = ?

"Pixel density" and "single sensor size" are almost the same only for CCD censors, where the sensor size is 70 to 92 percent of the pixel size. CMOS sensors can have the sensor size varying from 15 to 70% of the pixel size, and this makes huge difference between different kinds.

(1) As I understand reading russian forums - only in Russia there were sold at least 50 k20d with this problev, varying from 1 spoiled shot from 3 to 2 spoiled shots from 1000.
(2) Silky Pix created a special tool for extracting "something useful" from spoiled shots. This means lots of cameras with this problem.
(3) Definitely this is NOT sensor. This comes from interlace while reading the sensor by 2 ADC. The error appears in one of 2 ADC. One of them doesn't start reading if not enough heated or something like that. Definitely the error issue appears BEFORE the shot - while processing metering and AF data. The weak place that may cause the ADC not to start may appear to be the system BUS. Some other rare events show this possibility.

I was the first to reply such issue on May 2008 on the dpreview. In my case Pentax engeneers refused to replace the camera, saying that they couldn't reproduce the effect and think on radio interference, so I still use tat camera. Now I can say:
1. No any interference.
2. Temperature trend exists but is not absolute - under 10 C the effect becomes 3-4 times more often.
3. The effect depends on composition and this is reproducable. If appears - I repeat the shot, stripes repeat. I turn the camera 20 degrees aside, shoot again - no stripes. I return the camera back to original, shoot - again stripees. Often (50% cases) changing ANYTHING (ISO, aperture, DR enchancement on/off etc) also stops striping.
4. Another trend noticed - low contrast shots, especially shots with fog, enforce the effect to appear 3-4 times more often.
