I do not know how to revert back to the old firmware. I searched on the internet, but couldnt find the old firmware.
I will get a new SDHC card, download again the new firmware and try it again.
But I do not have much hope on it. Most likely as others have pointed out, it could be just a coincidence. This vertical line might be electronic/sensor related.

I am new to the forum but lurking around for quite some time.
I have in the last month upgraded from a K100D to K20D.
The K20D was working without problems till yesterday. I was very happy with it till yesterday. And then I did a firmware upgrade to 1.01. The first three shots were good.
But all later shots have a one pixel vertical bar on the left of the photo. I have changed the lens and changed the cards, but still the vertical bar remains. It is also independent of ISO settings and whether I shoot RAW or JPEG. It comes at the same position in every photo. Now I am not sure if this is because of the firmware upgrade or that my camera behaving strangely.
Did anybody else notice this problem? Should I sent it for repair?
The second photo is a crop of the first showing clearly the vertical line.
