SanDisk 64GB Ultra SD Class 10 Extreme Speed SDXC
Are these the best/biggest and suitable for a K-x, just updated the firmware and about to travel to Cambodia etc and hoping to reduce the clutter.

Just looked up the CORRECT name for the missing part-
REWIND KNOB
But also noticed that I am missing the thin black disc that has the raised/silvered ASA 4x. 2x. 1/2x. 1/4x. numerals as well.

An LX needing a winder knob ( asa rating dial and tab are still there) but needing the flip down winder and the closing cap immediately under the camera body etc as well as the other small closing cap also under the camera body under the film advance winder.
And I was wondering, given the paucity of parts for the LX, what other models might supply parts to get the camera working?
I recall reading that the ME might have some compatible parts, but cant locate the article.

Has anyone used the Sandisk SDHC 32GB card in a K-x?
I see from the Sandisk site that the cards marked "Extreme" and "Ultra" are the recommended cards.
Just acquired a Kx and was wondering as to whether the SDHC, non ULTRA and EXTREME cards would be ok?

Is there a setting ( that I have missed) that sets a time after which the camera shuts down? A de facto battery saver? I have a setting on my ist Dl and K100D but can't seem to locate a setting on the K-x!

Great- just received an advice that my "membership " is to lapse-
but NO hint as to what to actually do to maintain etc!
about as useful as a hip pocket on an athletic support!
So if the site is serious about maintaing my support- a link on the impersonal email might go somewhere to assuaging this disgruntled and possibly soon to lapse supporter

Having just been given a Metz 45 CT1 unit, am concerned with compatibility issues, suitable cable and connectors etc, etc.
Also, I came across a Wein unit (Wein SSHSHS Safe-Sync Hot Shoe to Hot Shoe: )
Is this also an option to be looked at
I had started a topic related to the later CT4 but also need advice as to the newly acquired unit

I am looking around for a suitable lens - autofocus, specfically for reproduction work . Namely, photographing artworks on canvas with sizes ranging from 300x300mm up to 3 metre x 2.4 metres. Using a K100d and a #029 mk2 Manfrotto tripod and natural light.
These shots are then loaded into adobe Lightroom and then into Photoshop for final tweaks and print ready etc
Given that the sizes are variable , i think i need a decent zoom that will cover the range of sizes, given that there is only so much depth/distance away from the image source one can place the camera.
Any suggestions-
(apart from getting out my 4x5 or 8x10 plate cameras- NO digital backs!)

Can anyone please tell me if the Metz 45 CT-4 is compatible with the K100D?. I would rather not risk frying the internals.
Is there a neat workaround if there are known issues?
