You need to go to a store and pick up a Canon to really convince yourself to make the jump.
A lot of stores will also let you rent a camera or lens so that would be a nice option as well.

My thread was in reference to the way they criticize others.

They say everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Well it's my opinion that some "regulars" and "moderators" on this site critique/criticize comments or pictures in threads yet their own work f*cking sucks.
Everyone is a different "stages" in their photography but I have to say it does bother me when I see comments offering suggestions on composition or editing and find that that person's own work looks like it was done by a gerbil.
This is my rant. And I don't give a damn.
