So, I know it's been almost a year, but I just happened upon this old thread of mine and saw the posts above about no link. Every time I try and paste in the link, it just tries to embed the video. Put all of this on one line, and it will work.... https://www.

I nominate this photo. Besides the awesomeness of the subject, which made my stomach lurch, I love the colors, the framing, and the exposure.

I nominate this photo for all the reasons said above, and because I appreciate photos that took actual work, instead of just a snapshot. Powerful image.

I nominate this photo. Any photo that gives me an instant knot in my stomach just by looking at it deserves a nomination for it's innate power.

I nominate this photo. I always appreciate photographers who are willing to wake up well before the sun to capture great images. And I love the feeling of peace that this one instills.

I nominate this image. Love the feeling of power and fear that strong waves inspire and are well captured here.

I nominate this photo. I've tried to capture rain portraits or rain candid shots before, and they never turn out as well as this. Looks like a busy street with busy people, and one woman brave enough to venture out. I like that the shutter was open long enough to see the rain drops move, but short enough to not blur the people.

Can you rotate the image so we can see it w/o tilting our heads?

This is a composition of five images shot at various exposure merged into a single image.
On December 31st of 2011, our family moved from St. Cloud, MN to the Caribbean island of St. Martin (or St. Maarten depending on which side of the island you are on). One evening just before sunset, I went to an overlook I'd discovered rather by accident my first week on the island. The first time I saw it, I knew at once that I would need to come back here around sunset because the view was breathtaking and at dusk it faces into the setting sun. The west side of the island is dominated by a large freshwater lagoon which is used by boats of all sizes as a safe harbor and makes for some curious and picturesque landscapes. This is a view of the lagoon moments after the sun dipped below the horizon

I nominate this photo. I feel it does a great job of representing the way our men and women in the armed forces risk their lives so that the rest of us may live in peace.

Ok, I think I got #2 worked out above: It does NOT have live HDMI output, but it DOES have live AV output. Sound right?

Some questions about the K-01 for video:
1) Does it have an external microphone jack?
2) I've read conflicting reports about the ability to attach an external LCD monitor and use it for live video feed while shooting. Is this possible?
3) How long can you shoot for w/o the censor overheating? Is it an issue at all?
Thanks?

>>Depends on what you would use it for. <<
Good point. I should have said that I'm looking for something to use when shooting video on a tripod. I'll check out the Hoodman.
