Most time, I prefer B & W, but I think the colors are really nice in this one. I'd go with the color if I had to choose.

There's a reflection in his eye that I don't like in the first one. He is very friendly, but likes to fight, and has been shot in the head when he wandered into the wrong yard.

My brother's cat is getting old. He has faced death several times. Considering that, he's not in bad shape. He has personality.

I'm glad I looked at this before going to bed. Really. I like having nightmares.

Has anyone figured out what kind of spider this is?

What kind of mushroom is that purple one? You probably shouldn't eat it, but I would just to see what happens.

The bottom left shot is really sharp. I like it a lot, and the upper right with the bride's veil covering her face. Nice style - I like that you've done different viewpoints. They'll have some cool pics to remind them of their wedding!

I just hadn't shaved for a day.

But there has been more times than I care to admit where I've gone out for the day, rubbed my hand across my face and felt a nice patch of hair that I missed because I wanted to sleep in an extra five minutes. lol

I used the kit lens on the K200D for this, focal length was 18 I think.

Agree with you that the flare adds to your images.

And with Zav - I like your crowd shot the best. Gives a very good impression of what the concert must have been like.

Never heard of the band, but now I'm going to see if I can find a sample of their music!

Mel, you are insane. I'm a big boxing fan, and I'm telling yout that these are awesome shots. I especially like the black and white and the shot with the ropes visible because they're something a little different and they're done well.

I can see any of these being published in The Ring magazine. If I could shoot like that, I'd continue to work at boxing events and try selling my stuff to boxing publications.

This photo seems very surreal to me. The trees on the right seem to blend into the river, almost like a shadow. I like it.

[K200D] Stupid question, but how do I use old lenses?

I have an old 49 mm Hoya that I used with a K1000, and I've been trying to use it with K200D but with no luck.

Whenever I attach the lens and switch the camera on I get two blinking lines on the LCD display along with a blinking "F". I have the focus switch set to manual... can't figure out what else I need to do. I've ready through the manual several times but can't find anything.

A few miles north of downtown Chicago. Not really an industrial area, but the station certainly gives off that feel.

This is a great shot. Did she see you taking the picture? What are you shooting with on your black and whites?

I really like the first shot, but I hate the dress. Personal thing, I know.

The dress works a little better in the third shot, I think

Great smile on the model. Hope we get to see some more work you do with her.

Great shots. You've given the thing a personality and captured some great expressions. Whenever I've seen sloths, they've just looked like lumps. This guy looks like he has some personality.
