First sorry if this has been asked before but I can't search just the M club thread. :( I did a few searches and didn't find what I was looking for.
I have a k200 and am looking a few M mounts f/1.7 at around $50 is this too much? Also when I check some compatibility checks it seems that M mounts don't always like the k200 any insight?

Hi
I am having real issues with understanding this. I go to M (manual) and can adjust the aperture. Then when I go to adjust the shutter speed I see numbers that change on the left side of the little screen on top, some of them even have " next to them (which makes me think of lengths, not speeds) But my problem is how do I translate these numbers into speeds? I have been able to figure most of the other modes out with research, but this one is throwing me.

Hi
I hope this goes here. I have a question, I am looking to order my camera tonight and got to thinking about bags. I was wondering does the k200 come with a storage bag? I just want something to put it until I figure out what bag I want to spring for. I looked on the site at what comes with the camera and it does not say.

Thanks for the welcome! Good to know there are Michiganders here. Unless I have a total change of heart (seriously doubt it :D) I will be ordering my camera on Friday. So excited.

HI
First off if this is in the wrong place please feel free to move it.
I was wondering what are peoples opinions of Abes? Are they reptuble? They have the best price for the K200D at $555.95 with free shipping. I was just wondering if it;s too good to be true? I even checked out Wal Mart and they had the same setup for $700. Yikes that is a price difference! I did some research online and several people had great things to say about them. So what are your opinions? Please help a girl out.

Hi
I am brand new to this forum. Just wanted to say HI and introduce myself. I am looking to buy a camera and really feel Pentax is the way to go. I have really enjoyed using my digital p&s over the years but have grown frustrated with the limits of it and want to upgrade to a entry level SLR. So I am off to read the forum here and get more questions answered.
I have to say that I have asked many people both online and in person about cameras and so far only one person has mentioned the Pentax name, so far I like what I see.
