Thanks everyone for all the suggestions.
I will settle for the 17-50mm. It's $469-110 educational rebate+manufacture rebate=$359, and then save up next for a 10-20mm which was on my wish list for a long time. I still have few months until the wedding.
I just noticed something for the long run.
I could get the 17-50mm, then later 10-20mm, and 50-135mm or the 28-75mm, 10-20mm, and 70-200mm. Hmmm

Hello everyone
I have some upcoming photo opportunities such as a restaurant party and my first time doing a wedding. I've been given these photo opportunities because I have done several shoots for my friend's past events.
I need some help on choosing a lens. I haven't decided which one is better for these types of events. I can only afford to purchase one for about $500.
I currently have the 18-55, 55-300, 50mm, and a Metz 48 flash. But would like to purchase the lens instead of renting it out for later use.
I would like to know which lens would be better to cover these types of photography Tamron 17-50mm or the Tamron 28-75mm?

Hello
I still haven't decided which lens to buy next. I currently have the 50 1.4, but it is too long for other shots like group photos.
I would like to know would it be better for me to get the 35mm, or just sell the prime and get the Tamron 17-50mm.

hmmm well speaking of price range. Those two are out.
I can justify spending 220-340 for a lens, but not more.
As a college student, I can't spend $600-1300.

Hello
I have a couple of 645 lenses like the 45-85mm, 75mm, and 55mm. I would like to get rid of them because the adapter to K-mount is too expensive. I would rather upgrade my digital lenses.
I'm not familiar with these older film lenses, but I would like to know when you move the aperture ring from A to 32.......4 2.8 are the blades inside the lens suppose to move.
I know on my FA lenses they move to different openings.
Thanks
Kevin

I took the info from another thread.
Maybe not heavy, just 20g or some small difference in weight.
I have old glass omg it's heavy on a k-x.

I suggest getting some good High Multi coated filters with your order.

You can refuse the package from the shipper, and they will return it.
Then contact Amazon and tell them you made an accidental mistake, and then purchase the other camera.

Hey everyone I clicked the trigger.
If you have Amazon Prime which I didn't have earlier, you can get it at this price.
I think it's a better deal than the k-x+18-55 red/white. For $198 more you get the 55-300mm lens.
I ordered it overnight for $4, and now I just have to return the other stuff back.

How did u get $668?
I tried the coupon for the k-x+18,55 and it doesn't work.
I just need the 55-300 lens, but an extra 18-55+body is not that bad than buying just a lens.
